2020-21 POGIL eSeries: Facilitating Meaningful Interactions in the Online/Hybrid POGIL Classroom

Due to popular demand, we've added a second run of our September 16th eSeries!

In this live, web-based session, facilitators Karl Bailey, Michael Garoutte, and Laura Trout will demonstrate and discuss how to facilitate meaningful interactions in your online or hybrid classroom.  Bailey (Clark College), Garoutte (Missouri Southern State University), and Trout (Lancaster Country Day School) will:

  • Demonstrate how to use some Zoom features to best organize your online classroom (other platforms will be discussed)
  • Demonstrate tools that can be used to have teams record their work and share out synchronously
  • Discuss tools and techniques of managing team work asynchronously

Registration for this event is limited to 48 people.  Registrants will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation 1-2 days prior to the webinar.  Please note that the session begins at 7 PM Eastern Time (6 PM Central/5 PM Mountain/4 PM Pacific) The session is scheduled for 75 minutes but the facilitators will remain available to answer questions at the completion of the session.

Cancellation Policy:  Should you need to cancel your registration, please contact Julie Boldizar at julie.boldizar@pogil.org.  Registered participants who cancel by September 23, 2020 will receive a refund minus a $5 administrative fee.  No refunds will be given for cancellations received after September 23, 2020.
