When we hear the word "diversity" in relation to the classroom, what comes to mind?  Please join this special eSeries session as we discuss research on how instructors and teachers conceptualize diversity and how these conceptions inform their approaches to teaching and learning.  Together, we will examine features and variations among different conceptions of diversity and brainstorm approaches to intentionally create more equitable and inclusive learning environments.

This session will be facilitated by Stacey Brydges and Stanley Lo of the University of California San Diego and by Nicole Suarez and Samantha Ridgway of San Diego State University.

Registration for this event is limited to 90 people.  Registrants will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation approximately 2 days prior to the event.  Please note that the session begins at 7:00 PM Eastern Time and is scheduled for 1 hour.

No refunds will be given for cancellations.
