In this web-based session, facilitators Sheila Barbach and Mary van Opstal will introduce you to the benefits of using Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning in your classroom.  Barbach (Gerrard Berman Day School), and van Opstal (William Rainey Harper College) will introduce you to:

  • the roles used in POGIL classrooms
  • the Learning Cycle and how it applies to POGIL activities
  • the process skills students develop in a POGIL classroom
Registration for this event is limited to 30 people.  Registrants will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation approximately 1 week prior to the webinar.  Please note that the session begins at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.  The session is scheduled for 1 hour but the facilitators will remain available to answer questions at the completion of the session.


Cancellation Policy:  Should you need to cancel your registration, please contact Julie Boldizar at julie.boldizar@pogil.org.  Registered participants who cancel by January 1, 2020 will receive a refund minus a $5 administrative fee.  No refunds will be given for cancellations received after January 1, 2020.
