The likelihood that instructors will incorporate more online components into their classes during Fall 2020 is higher than ever.  Many educators pivoted to remote learning this spring and summer, but now are looking toward fall with a more intentional focus on the inclusion of POGIL best practices in their asynchronous courses (completely online, hybrid/blended, or HyFlex).  To discuss the best practices in these environments, join The POGIL Project's Kristin Plessel as she talks with  Kevin Forgard, an instructional designer, and Claire Major, an educator and researcher who focuses on teaching online and collaborative learning.

 Topics will include:

  • Key features to build into an engaging online experience
  • How to humanize the online class space
  • How to build in student-to-student engagement and process skills
